I always prefer nature over the city, but this was still really enjoyable. Iceland has been a long-time dream of mine and to this day I still can’t believe I actually made it there. My dad is a native to Hong Kong and so we’ve never explored it as “tourists.” I’ve taken many photos over the years but these ones are some of my favorites which showcase what Hong Kong is to me: a pastel urban jungle.

I have always loved taking pictures, but it was only when I started consciously travelling (I say ‘consciously’ because when I was much younger I didn’t appreciate it well enough) that I realized how much I enjoyed taking pictures of places.

This post is about my favorite recollections of one of my first ‘conscious’ trips. Between April 21, 2014 – May 1, 2014 my mom and I traveled to Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and Germany (lots of photos ahead!) with Pacific Bound to celebrate the canonization of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII. For this trip I only used my Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
